Pair of Empire style solid mahogany Bergères. Each armchair features a straight, generously upholstered backrest with a mahogany headband, carved in the center with a diamond-shaped embossed flower and scroll motif. High armrests with cuffs rest on straight front legs also carved in relief. The rear saber feet are turned outwards for greater stability. The slightly curved belt is carved with rectangular flowers and scrolls. The restored structure is in perfect condition, but the studded velvet upholstery and cushioned seat are original.
