Pair of Louis XV armchairs. Mid-18th century. These cabriolet armchairs rest on arched legs ending in small scrolls. The top of the front legs is carved with flowers. The front crosspiece and the top of the backrest are also carved with flowers and foliage. The armrest consoles are called "coup-de-fouet". The whole is elegantly molded. Note some slight differences in the sculptures. Structure in very good condition. Reinforcements present at the corners. Traditional strap and horsehair upholstery in good condition. These seats are covered with a tapestry with small dots in good condition. Old off-white lacquer and sage green rechampi.
