Pair of mahogany armchairs from Cuba, Directoire / Restoration period.
The backs, reversed, and the seats, large and in good condition, are covered with a plain yellow velvet fabric with braid finish.
The armrests, with their pure lines, are simply molded at the lower ends in the form of Baluster vases.
The feet, always in the sobriety, are slightly curved in front and 'sabres' in the back.
