Pair of bamboo and rattan armchairs, enhanced at the legs and armrests with beautiful solid brass corners. Designed by Gilles Sermadiras for Maison et Jardin around 1955.
Original webbing in burlap and latex strips, new jacquard terry filling (Order this fabric here)
The bamboo structures have been cleaned and stained by our restorer. They now offer a uniform and well-fixed patina.
The burlap webbing, on the right, has been modified by the previous owners but this does not affect the solidity or comfort of the armchairs. (New foam blocks + Dacron wadding)
