This pair of armchairs from the Louis XIV period is made of walnut, the front legs and the spacer are made of turned wood, the back legs are square section with cut sides. In an excellent state of preservation the wood has remained very healthy and the legs have not undergone any restoration, only the belt has been reworked. The walnut is of very good quality and has a warm color to which we have matched a brown fabric with golden highlights decorated with chimeras. They have been completely dismantled and reassembled and the upholstery has been redone.
Late 17th or early 18th century.
