Armchair N° 714 by Jacob & Josef KOHN, an architect's work with square sections, very characteristic of the Viennese Secession. Historians attribute this creation not to Otto Wagner as empirically, but to Gustave Siegel.
Upholstered in patinated "fawn" leather in excellent condition - the tapestry is obviously recent and well-stretched.
This model, with brass legs and oak-style shellac varnish, was produced in 1912/15.
Height 81 cm - Seat 48 x 49 cm - Seat height 47 cm - Width between armrests: 52 cm. Total width: 63 cm
