Beautiful cabinet armchair with swivel seat and cabriolet back in finely molded, carved and cream-colored lacquered walnut. It features fine neoclassical ornamentation, with foliage, ribboned twists and canals. The cane-bottomed back rests on molding-connected armrests, supported by recessed supports. The circular belt rests on four tapered legs with curved fluting.
The cupped and tiled seat is upholstered in green leather.
Stamped : P. Bernard (under the belt). Pierre BERNARD (circa 1730-1788) Cité maître le 24 janvier 1766.
