Superb cabinet armchair in carved mahogany, mahogany veneer and black patinated beech.
The backrest with a wide openwork band decorated with finely carved trellises.
The armrests have a lion's head, the front shank legs and the rear saber legs.
The openwork composition of the file is strictly identical to that of a set delivered by Jacob Frères, unstamped, in 1800 for the Tuileries Palace, then installed in 1807 in Fontainebleau in a dining room of the princes' apartment.
