Bauhaus cantilever armchair, tubular steel and bentwood. Published by Thonet between 1932 and 1935 under N°B261. It is the work of a French designer: Emile Guillot (1892-1960) This chair is signed in relief by the "pastille" set in a front foot, 5 cm below the seat. This stamp is extremely rare and is not found on all products from this period. The organization of forces and overhang is unique and certainly exclusive. The chrome of the tubing is original and perfect, with only traces of rubbing at the points of contact with the ground (underside). Exhibited at the Musées de Reims, France The wood parts are stained cherry under an organic shellack. The seat is shaped like a "saddle" for greater comfort, and certainly elegance! Dimensions: Height: 82 cm -Seat height: 48 cm -Width HT: 52 cm -Depth Ht: 56 cm More photos and information on request. Delivery in France and Europe or pick-up in Alsace
