Fischel armchair from 1932/39, Czechoslovakian manufacture of excellent quality. It is here in its version, not with a ring to hold the feet but with wooden brackets - curved on the front and very art-deco hoops on the sides.
Upholstered on full-grain, burgundy leather straps, under bronze studs.
No markings but the invoice and the hardware speak to me.
This is model No. 50 E manufactured from 1925 to 1939 by Fischel. “Cherry” stain under shellac.
Dimensions: Total Height: 79cm - Seat Height: 46.5 cm - Total Width: 56 cm - Seat: 47X50 cm, Height at the armrests, front: 72 cm.
