    Biography :

Denis Jullienne - Parisian joiner, received master on July 31, 1775, probably descended from another Denys Julienne who had been upholsterer to Louis XIV and the Duke of Burgundy in the early 18th century.

Established in the rue de Charenton, this craftsman devoted himself successfully to the manufacture of wood for beds and seats. He was employed by the Presle brothers, fashionable merchants who placed orders with him for the Marquis de Girardin.
His workshop still existed in 1805.

We owe him some pleasant works signed D. IULLIENNE, sometimes with a second mark: D. JULLIENNE, which he seems to have used after the other and for a longer period.
