Circle" small armchair in black lacquered wood, designed by Yngve Ekström circa 1960.
New foam and curly fabric, black relacquered wood trim.
H 73 CM X P 56 CM X W 64 CM X H seat 42 CM.
A fine scratch in the wood, at the back of the top backrest (see back photo).

Yngve Ekström (June 16, 1913 - March 13, 1988) was a Swedish furniture designer and architect and one of the pioneers of the Scandinavian modernist movement. He is best known for the "Lamino" armchair he designed in 1956, which has been in production ever since.
He co-founded the furniture manufacturer ESE-möbler, better known as Swedese. He worked there for over 40 years, until 1988.
