Armchair in Ash, Regency period, with large and comfortable back and seat, covered with an Antique Tapestry with aged nails finish. This authentic fabric is decorated with flowers and foliage in Cross Stitches, in the middle of which we can appreciate, in medallions, two colored bouquets in footed vases.
Numerous moldings embellish this chair, such as shell decorations on the crosspieces and the curved sides or long leaves on the curved armrests. There are also scrolls on the shoulders and animal hooves on the four curved legs.
The latter are connected by an X-shaped brace, sculpted with a flower in its center.
The quality of the seat has been reworked by craftsmen with "Sangles et Pelotes" and consequently benefits from a good firmness.
