A pair of armchairs in bergères or chauffeuses, upholstered in ivory velvet with a slight patina (we haven't tried cleaning them, as we don't think it's necessarily necessary).
Resting on a turned solid beechwood base, they are very comfortable. Note the repairs to the front legs of one of them, which do not detract from its solidity or regular use.
They date from the late 19th or early 20th century, circa 1900. Seat height: 43 cm.
