Pair of very large woodwork elements (height 2.22m) representing at the top the heads of winged angels, surmounting motifs in volutes and descending garlands of flowers.
Probably formerly part of an organ case, or on either side of an altar or altarpiece, their size is exceptional and the quality of the sculpture is there. Difference in oak colors, one a little redder than the other, emphasized here by the light directed for the photo.
Rare in these dimensions. Flanders, or perhaps northern France?, 17th century.
