Beautiful patina for our expressive Saint Francis.
In carved wood in the round, this polychrome statue is a call to meditation.
Saint Francis, according to Catholic tradition, would be the first saint in history to receive the stigmata of Christ.
Iberian colonial art from the 17th century.
Dimensions of 66 cm by 22 and 13 cm deep.
Good condition considering the age of this piece. Note small accidents and losses, particularly on the fingers.
