Almost four hundred years old, our 17th-century Virgin of Pity is made of walnut wood carved in the round.
Formerly polychromed, this statue has undergone a major qualitative restoration, with the complete repair of several elements, recognizable by the color of the wood.
Wearing a veil and a loose robe with flowing folds that fall to the ground, the Virgin's face is slightly bent over her son.
Our Christ, at last appeased after his Passion, is very expressive.
    Dimensions: 42 cm high x 37 wide x 16 cm deep.
    Piece in good condition.
