Very rare wood sculpture (cherry wood) of an African woman by Karl Hagenauer (1898-1956). The bust is carved in profile from a single piece of wood on a flat oval brass base. This piece was carved around 1930.
Signed under the base "Hagenauer Wien handmade" with the WHW stamp.
Very good condition.
