Here's a lovely terracotta sculpture from the '30s or '40s, probably a studio work with a nice patina. It represents a woman of African origin from the '30s. The workmanship is particularly admirable in the hair and the rendering of the face. It is signed G. Bel.
This sculpture is perfect for a 1930s or modernist interior.
As for condition, one of the ears is missing, and there are small chips in several places.
