Rare pair of roosters in polychrome terra cotta. Late 18th century.
Some differences between the two roosters. Restoration of use
They come from the outbuildings of the Chateau de Versailles (probably du Hameau from the time of Marie Antoinette's sheepfold) in the Petit Trianon. The roosters are of the Swiss Andalusian breed.
