A beautiful Art Deco sculpture from around 1930, in pink-glazed terracotta, depicting a seated, draped young woman. The terracotta is in very good condition, with no cracks or chips. It is signed on the base.
Gaston Beguin, born in Switzerland in 1892, worked with the sculptor Aristide Maillol in Paris and exhibited at the Salon d'Automne in 1919-1920.
