    Émile-Charles-Bernard Wessbecher, known as Émile-Bernard Donatien, E.B. Donatien or simply Donatien, was a French actor, director, producer, screenwriter, decorative artist, painter and ceramist, born June 20, 1887 in Paris and died November 8, 1955 in Appoigny, Yonne.
    Turquoise glazed terracotta group depicting a dignitary seated on an elephant and a second (smaller) figure.
    The base has been glued back together, but the whole remains in very good condition.
    The base is pierced on the back and on the dignitary's back (passage for electricity?).
    The base is signed with the artist's stamp.
