Biography:
Henri Bargas is a French sculptor born in Paris and active in the 1920s and 1930s.
H. Bargas collaborated with E. Jacques RUHLMANN and E. Marcel Sandoz at the Jardin des Plantes on animal studies, as well as with other Parisian artists around 1925.
In the 1930s, he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris.
His sculptures are primarily inspired by classical Greek art and the works of E.A. Boudelle; Heracles the Archer, Odysseus, female nudes, etc.
