Alabaster sculpture representing the bust of a beautiful, elegant young woman, wearing a headdress in her curly hair and flowers on the corset of her dress, signed Cipriani*, on a gilded bronze base, with an antique store label "Objets d'Art et Curiosités J. Petit 16 rue Tronchet" Paris, Art Nouveau period late 19th-early 20th century.
This bust is in good condition. It is signed on the back and labeled on the underside of the base (the base may have been mounted later, with a crack in the bottom of the alabaster at the junction with the bronze, probably made during mounting).
Please note: a few accidents, chips and scratches on the alabaster, crack at the bottom of the base, wear and tear, see photos.
