This profile of a man is a plaster bas-relief from an artist's studio. It was made by a prestigious artist signed Wladyslaw Gruberski, in 1906.
It has its original patina. The work is impregnated, made with great realism and beautiful technique. We have not managed to identify the man in this bas-relief.
It is accompanied by a natural wood frame such as pitch pine that goes perfectly with this work.
Władysław Gruberski was a Polish sculptor. His work was part of the sculpture event in the art competition at the 1928 Summer Olympics.
