Cast-iron statue of a draped young woman holding a wreath of flowers in her right hand.
The statue is called Le Printemps, a model by Mathurin Moreau, a sculptor from Val d'Osne (1822-1912).
It stands on a large 4-sided cast-iron base, richly decorated with acanthus leaves, animal heads, horns of plenty and floral motifs.
The base is 90 cm high.
Very well made, this statue comes from the Maupassant park in Savary Wood, Allonnes, Maine-et-Loire.
