Dumitru Haralamb Chiparus leaves his hometown in Romania, he studies painting and drawing in Florence.
In 1912 he was admitted to the School of Fine Arts in Paris.
After the war he opened his workshop in Paris and exhibited his works in salons.
His works are distinguished by his particularly recognizable touch of hand.
The artist's works are exhibited today in various international museums.
120 pieces currently on display at the Art Deco Museum in Moscow.
An important collection also exhibited at the Art Deco Museum of Salamanca in Spain.
