China, Qing dynasty, 19th century, very pretty pair of bronze vases richly decorated with dragons and water turtles in reserves in the center, rooster heads as grips, lingzhis mushrooms under the flared necks and gadroons on the foot. The whole is treated with great refinement due to the quality of the sculpture restoring the finesse of the details. Under the base mark with two hollow characters under the base (Zong Fu). We find this same mark under two bronze vases sold in May 2019 in Salisbury (England) during a cataloged sale of Asian art.
Height 13.5cm.
