Vase of Sosibios :
The original work is preserved in the Louvre Museum and dates back to the first century B.C. Its mythological frieze decoration reveals Artemis and Hermes, among other figures. Its name refers to the Athenian sculptor behind it, although the vase was probably discovered in Italy.
The vase was inventoried at Versailles in the royal collections of France during the reign of Louis XIV.
