Two beautiful silver bronze sculptures of jockeys. One with his saddle on his right shoulder and his riding crop in his left hand. The second holds a laurel wreath and purse in his left hand, representing a grand prix win. Both appear to be posing for a photo immortalizing the end of a grand prix they have won.
They are signed on the terrace Lalouette: a French artist of the late 19th, early 20th century, and stand on black marble pedestals.
Very fine quality chasing with well-represented details.
