    Superb Bronze Sculpture with Brown Patina, Entitled "Europe à Coeur".

    This Sculpture Represents Two Intertwined Bodies Forming a Heart and Symbolizing European Reconciliation Resting on a Cubic Base in Black Marble. Beautiful Patina. It is Possible to Find a Work with a Similar Subject by This Artist in Front of the European Parliament in Strasbourg. This Piece is Signed Under the Work and Bears the Stamp of the Founder.

    "In 1991, Ludmila Tcherina designed and created Europe à cœur, a Monumental Sculpture officially chosen by the European Community to symbolize a united Europe (sponsored by the Foundation for Europe of Science and Culture). It was unveiled at the Museum of Modern Art in March 1992. A Resin Version is in front of the European Pavilion at the Universal Exhibition in Seville. The Bronze Version was installed in front of the European Parliament in Strasbourg in the spring of 1994. This sculpture was moved to the forecourt of the new Parliament, Place Louise-Weiss, and was officially unveiled on December 13, 2000 by Mrs. Nicole Fontaine, President of the European Union."
