Small Buddha head with green patina. The face, imbued with great interiority, is characterized by perfectly curved eyebrows meeting above an aquiline nose, long tapered almond-shaped eyes with wide half-open eyelids, formerly inlaid. A small mouth with fleshy lips and a pinched smile, classic of Lao statuary, the pointed ears with distended lobes symbolizing the royal origin of the Buddha. The head is covered with large curls, a fine band delimiting the hair. The usnisa (cranial protuberance) formerly surmounted by a high rasmi, the neck adorned with the three classic folds of beauty.
