    The head and gaze are turned to the left with a mischievous expression, and the child's hair is flowing and curly.
    The lower part of the child's bust extends over the marble base.

    *Jean-Marie CAMUS (1877-1955). Born in Clermont-Ferrand on November 12, 1877 - Died in Paris on June 16, 1955. Student at the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts, a pupil of Barrias and Coutan. Knight of the Legion of Honor. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris from 1900 and received a gold medal "out of competition" in 1931.

    *Arthur Goldscheider was the son of Austrian entrepreneur Friedrich Goldscheider, a manufacturer of ceramics and bronzes. In 1892, his father founded a subsidiary of his Viennese factory in Paris.
