Delightful Bronze Sculpture with Brown Patina after Jean de Bologne, representing Mercury Flying, Messenger of the Gods, his Foot Resting on the Breath of Zephyr.

Sculpture resting on a Cylindrical Cast-iron Base. Mercury holding the Torch of Knowledge in one hand and a Caduceus in the other. He is wearing the Petasus, his Ankles Winged.

Work of very fine craftsmanship, after Jean de Bologne known as GIAMBOLOGNA (1529-1608), Flemish sculptor. Beautiful dimensions.
