    Burma, 1920s/1930s, very pretty and large bronze sculpture with a copper and silver patina depicting Buddha seated on a high triangular base, his hands in the posture of holding the earth as witness "bhumisparsa mudra". The base of the base is openwork and decorated with a seated figure surrounded by two elephants.
    The whole thing is of good quality.
    Height 34.5 cm.
    Another Buddha, similar, was presented and sold in our gallery.
