    Bronze "Le Faucheur", signed on the terrace by the French sculptor Eugene-Antoine Aizelin (1821-1902). A pupil of Jules Ramey and Auguste Dumont, Aizelin won various awards during his career, including a gold medal at the 1889 World's Fair.
    "The Reaper" is a bronze subject with brown patina representing a young man hard at work in the fields. Clogs on his feet and dressed in a jumpsuit, this farmer looks at the horizon while leaning on his scythe.
    This subject rests on a circular plinth with groove in Portor marble from the Pyrenees.
    Representing the manual work of yesteryear, this bronze will please by its authenticity and its quality of realization.
