Bronze with Brown Patina entitled "Rêverie au bord du Lac" signed Edouard Drouot (1859 - 1945).
This French Sculptor is known for his Sculptures of Allegorical Scenes which are characterized by a Sense of Movement and an impressive Expressive touch.
"Rêverie au Bord du Lac" is a Sensual Work, featuring a scantily clad woman in a semi-reclining position, leaning on one elbow and stroking a Swan.
Face turned to the Horizon, lost in her thoughts, she wears a wide ribbon in her long hair styled in the style of the Belle Époque.
Her body is covered with a light and transparent veil, highlighting her delicate curves and heightening her voluptuousness.
