Thai-style bronze with brown patina, 17th - 18th century, early 20th century work.
The Shakyamuni Buddha has a serene expression, marked by half-closed eyes, elegantly arched eyebrows, an aquiline nose and full lips sketching a benevolent smile.
Elongated lobes with lotiform earrings evoke her princely origins.
The elaborate floral crown, topped by a conical ushnisha, is one of the 32 principal attributes of his wisdom (Lakshana).
