    Beautiful bronze sculpture with a shaded brown patina representing Tatius, King of the Cures among the Sabines (and later co-King of Rome, whose throne he is said to have shared with Romulus), protecting himself with his shield, after the famous painting by Jacques-Louis David (1748-1825), The Sabines, painted between 1796 and 1799, now in the Louvre Museum in Paris.
