    The rabbit hunt or group of dogs at the burrow is a bronze sculpture with a brown patina by P J Mêne

    Prolific artist, Pierre Jules Mêne 1810-1879, distinguished himself as one of the main French animal sculptors in the 19th century
    From 1838, he participated in the Paris Salon; he created his own foundry workshop and began to cast and carve his works himself.
    The taste for animal sculpture but above all the quality of his works will make him enjoy great success.
