*Louis-Maximilien Fiot, known as Maximilien Fiot (1886-1953) was a French sculptor. A pupil of the sculptor Prosper Lecourtier, he exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1910 to 1914. A member of the Salon des Artistes Français, Fiot won a 3rd medal in 1911, then a 2nd medal in 1913.
His main subjects are animals: birds, dogs, cats and other wild animals such as wolves, deer, lions and panthers.
