This Pierrefonds stoneware vase has a recessed marking. It is typical of the 1900's, with an attractive glaze and "420" markings. Note its distinctive shape.
Pierrefonds stoneware bears the factory's first imprint under the base, representing a helmeted knight's head between the letters F and H, the initials of its corporate name "La Faïence Héraldique".
