Georges RECIPON (1860-1920) & Emile MULLER (1823-1889)
French painter and sculptor, whose most famous creations are "the Nymphs of the Seine" and "the Nymphs of the Neva" present in the keys of the Pont Alexandre-III in Paris (1900) as well as the two quadrigas of the Grand Palais in Paris (1900).
Here we present, an important ornamental torch in enameled ceramic representing the figure of Eurynome holding a Leviathan. Only example known to date.
