    The central views represent :
    - The chapel of William Tell in Fluelen on the lake of the 4 cantons
This chapel shelters 4 frescos of the Basle painter Ernst Stuckelberg describing 4 events of the founding myths of Switzerland, namely, the oath of the Grutli, the shooting with the crossbow, the jump of Tell and the death of Gessler.
The pianist and composer Franz Liszt dedicated the first piece of his "Years of Pilgrimage" to it.
