Chinese Nanking porcelain vase with beige crackle ground and polychrome enamel decoration.
This vase features a rotating battle scene. Numerous Asian warriors in colorful outfits are painted, surrounded by a stylized landscape.
The vase has a curved neck and is decorated with fantastic lizard-like animals on the top of the belly.
Signed on the underside with a seal, this Nanking vase is a traditional work, dear to the hearts of Chinese artists of the Qing dynasty.
