Pair of polychrome vases with antique-inspired decoration, stamped by the famous royal factory of Capodimonte, known for its high quality porcelain since 1743.
With a neck decorated with ivy and flowers, each of these vases presents on its front part revolving scenes in relief, from the period of Greco-Roman antiquity. There follow paintings recalling different key moments of this period: warriors or gladiators displaying swords and shields, through the oracle in front of his brazier preparing to sacrifice a goat, to musicians crowned with laurels playing the lyre and the diaule.
With multiple colors, enhanced with petals in purple, yellow and orange, these vases are highlighted with gold edging magnifying the whole.
