Beautiful pair of porcelain de Paris vases with fine matte and glossy gilded decoration on a blue kiln background. In the center are animated landscapes finely depicted in polychrome, in gilded frames with oval views. The gilded cookie handles accentuate the contrast between matte and glossy. Empire style, Restoration period, early 19th century, circa 1830.

A very fine model, richly decorated.

Our vases are in very good condition, the handles intact, the gilding very fresh, one base restored on one of the 2 vases.
