Large porcelain vase decorated on the front with a depiction of a Napoleonic battle: the Emperor on his white horse is in the foreground with his generals, while in the background a city is burning. The painting is signed Chamele

This scene is set in relief on a yellow background, and is enhanced by gold decorations of the Emperor's symbols: bees, imperial eagle, letter "N"...
The date 1807 is almost invisible in the gold.

Vase in the Sèvres style: the two interlaced Ls, the words Mft Impériale and the letters JPT in a triangle refer to the Porcelaine J Tiéles factory. Round gilded label under the foot.

Very good condition, with signs of age on the gilding.
