Coffee pot in Paris porcelain from the Directoire period/Consulate period, work of the Schoelcher Manufacture (attributed to) in the years 1795-1800. Beautiful and fine landscape decoration of castles in monochrome monochrome, richly enhanced with fine gold gilding. The jug bears a signature with an S underneath, most likely that of the Schoelcher Manufacture.

The Schoelcher Manufacture (1798-1834) is the heir to the Faubourg Saint Denis Manufacture, formerly that of the Comte d'Artois created under the old regime. It enjoyed great success under the Empire and the Restoration where it was under the protection of the Duchess of Berry.

Beautiful collector's item in excellent condition, over 200 years old and almost in new condition. Very fresh gilding without wear, no accidents or cracks.
