    Paris porcelain butter dish from the Directoire period, enhanced with fine gold trim and a floral frieze whose matte finish enhances the contrast with the shiny trim. Late 18th century, circa 1790, in the style of the Locré factory, unsigned.

    The set is in excellent condition, no damage, and the gilding is fresh after almost 250 years.
